SCHEDULED WATER OUTAGE NOTICE


Please be advised:

The City of Farmington has scheduled repairs to pressure regulator valve #67, in the area of 3451 E Main Street. The water will be off on East Main Street from East 20th Street to 3451 E Main Street. The repairs are scheduled to take place between midnight tonight, Friday March 15, 2019 through 4:00 am Saturday morning, March 16, 2019.   While every effort will be made to complete the repairs within this time frame, unforeseen circumstances may require a longer outage. If the service disruption will last significantly longer than anticipated, updates will be provided.

LOW WATER PRESSURE


Please be advised:

3/15/19 - 9:36 am - Please be advised water pressure is very low in the area of E. Main Street and 30th street due to regulator issues.

During this time, customers may experience low water pressure. Crews are working as quickly as possible to repair the water regulator.

If the service disruption will last longer than anticipated, we will provide additional updates. You can also call JACOBS, the company that operates and maintains the water system for the City of Farmington, at (505) 326-1918, for additional information or any questions.

  • S. Dustin Rd. from Hwy. 64 to Southside River Rd. will be RESTRICTED beginning Monday, March 18, 2019 through Friday, March 22, 2019 to allow for asphalt repair. CONSTRUCTION HOURS: Monday thru Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm


  • La Salle Street from La Puente Street to Westland Park Drive will be RESTRICTED beginning Thursday, March 14, 2019 through Tuesday, May 14, 2019 to allow for utility work. CONSTRUCTION HOURS: Monday thru Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm


  • McCormick School Road between Broadway Avenue and Hydro Plant Road will be CLOSED beginning Monday, March 18, 2019 through Friday, March 22, 2019 to allow for road reconstruction. CONSTRUCTION HOURS: Monday thru Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm


  • Sullivan Avenue between 20th Street and 30th Street will be RESTRICTED beginning today, Monday, March 11, 2019 through Monday, June 6, 2019 to allow for water line replacement. CONSTRUCTION HOURS: Monday thru Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm  


  • W. Main Street between Valle Vista Drive and Murray Drive will be RESTRICTED beginning Monday, March 11, 2019 through Monday, June 3, 2019 to allow for new sewer and water line installation. CONSTRUCTION HOURS: Monday thru Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

POTHOLE PATCHING & CRACK-SEALING PROJECT

The City of Farmington Streets Department will be potholing various locations throughout the City. Locations may be RESTRICTED for a short period of time during this process, detours and barricades will be in place.

W. Main Street Waterline and Sewerline Replacement Project

The W. Main Street Water and Sewer Line Replacement Project is currently in progress. This major project includes replacement of the water and sewer lines along W. Main Street, from the east side of W. Main Walmart to Valle Vista Drive, and on W. Murray Drive, south of W. Main Street to 1515 W. Murray Drive.

Estimated completion date: August 2019

CONSTRUCTION HOURS: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Sullivan Avenue Waterline Replacement Project

The Sullivan Avenue Waterline Replacement Project is currently in progress. This major project includes replacement of waterlines along Sullivan Avenue between 20th Street and 30th Street.

Estimated completion date: June 2019

CONSTRUCTION HOURS: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

MAIN STREET REVITALIZATION PROJECT

Please be advised, the City of Farmington Electric Dept. will be upgrading the Electrical System in the downtown alleyways, north and south of Main St., between S. Miller Ave. and Auburn Ave. VARIOUS CLOSURES AND RESTRICTIONS are expected in ALLEYS and SIDE STREETS beginning Thursday, January 24, 2019 through Monday, June 24, 2019.

       Construction Hours: Monday thru Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm 
 
Detours and barricading will be in place. Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes.

FOOTHILLS DR. ENHANCEMENT - PHASE I

The project will involve reconstructing Foothills Dr. from Holmes Drive to Rinconada St. The reconstructed road will have two 11' wide travel lanes, two 5' wide bike lanes, one 10' wide detached multi-use path, drainage structures, medians and a roundabout.
